Dhanush ÂMaappillai on April 8

After the critically acclaimed film ÂAadukalamÂ, Dhanush will be seen in a pucca commercial avatar ÂMaappillai which is releasing on April 8. The long due film will be the first attraction post-world cup season.
DhanushÂs ÂMaappillai is the remake of the 80s Rajinikanth block buster by the same name. The new version is directed by Suraj.
While Dhanush tries to replay the Super Star, Manisha Koirala plays the dominating mother-in-law role played superbly by Srividhya in the original. Hansika Motwani is Amala.
ÂMaappillai will be followed by the other big films ÂKo and ÂEngeyum Kadhal which were expected to release in February. The Jeeva and ÂJayam Ravi films are two weeks after Dhanush film.
